We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead complex construction and design projects, ensuring seamless execution from inception to completion. Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years or more, in project management, preferably in construction, architectural design, or related industries.
- Proven experience managing projects valued up to $10M+
- Strong technical skills in reviewing and producing architectural drawings, conducting feasibility studies, and managing tender processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and local authorities.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
- Experience implementing innovative processes to improve project efficiency, such as standardized CAD layering systems or digital filing instructions.
- Familiarity with building regulations, planning applications, and health and safety protocols in construction projects.

Responsibilities

Tasks:
- Coordinate subcontractor’s activities
- Select trade subcontractors
- Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates
- Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors
- Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements
- Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control
- Read blueprint, schemas and drawings
- Plan and manage budgets
- Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions
- Plan and organize construction projects
- Prepare and submit progress and other reports

Key responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and closure of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and client expectations.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Manage tender submissions, including take-offs, estimating, pricing, and review of specifications to secure project contracts.
- Oversee the setup of projects in construction management software (e.g., Procore), ensuring accurate entry of milestones, contracts, and purchase orders.
- Track and monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules, addressing issues promptly to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
- Review and confirm architectural drawings, ensuring compliance with design specifications, building regulations, and client requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and produce detailed reports to support project decision-making and planning.
- Facilitate site visits, meetings, and building surveys to ensure project alignment with on-site conditions and stakeholder needs.

- Approve invoices and ensure proper documentation and budget adherence in coordination with accounting teams.
- Implement innovative processes to enhance project efficiency, such as streamlined filing systems or standardized drawing protocols.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

- Background in architectural technology or design coordination, with hands-on experience in producing working drawings and conducting site surveys.
