Work location:

• On site, various work locations in the Vancouver area.
• Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Salary:

• $32.00 to $37.00 hourly (To be negotiated based on work experience) / A minimum of 35.00 to approximately 44.00 hours per week

Terms of employment:

• Permanent employment
• Full time
• Early morning,
• Flexible hours: During the summer we might require weekends and overtime. Schedule year around is ‘on call’ as the job is weather dependent (early morning, day, evening and nights may be required).
• Starts as soon as possible

Responsibilities

Tasks

• Plan the incorporation of landscape structures
• Survey and assess designated sites
• Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease
• Plan and co-ordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses and other purposes
• Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens
• Assist with landscape constructions
• Assist in preparing design, drawings and specifications
• Perform snow maintenance operations including handling snowmaking and snow removal equipment

• Own transportation is recommended due to the various locations (west Vancouver, north Vancouver)
• Public transportation is available but depending on where you reside and where the work location is in the Vancouver area, commute could be long.
