•  Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Salary:

• $37.00 hourly / A minimum of 35 hours per week

• Flexible hours: During the summer we might require weekends and overtime. Schedule year around is ‘on call’ as the job is weather dependent (early morning, day, evening and nights may be required).

Responsibilities

Tasks

• Hire, supervise and schedule staff
• Organize planting of trees, gardens and lawns
• Schedule work
• Plan and direct grounds maintenance
• Plan and estimate labour and materials
• Organize and direct construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Perform same duties as workers supervised
• Establish work schedules and procedures
• Perform snow maintenance operations including handling snowmaking and snow removal equipment
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers

• Public transportation is available but depending on where you reside and where the work location is in the Vancouver area, commute could be long.
